BiographySarah started playing the piano when  when she was five years old and hasn't stopped since! She studied music at Birmingham University before changing direction, obtaining a law degree and qualifying as a solicitor. Her piano was never far away though. Sarah directed a number of musicals, including her law school's production of The Mikado, and played the piano for many more.

2005 heralded a full-time return to music and Sarah finished her music degree, gaining a first in the performance part of the course, with a view to persuing a teaching career to fit in with family life. She taught piano at Canterbury Christ Church University, St. Edmund's School and Invicta Grammar School and continued to perform as a vocal accompanist and vocal coach. She then spent five years as Director of Music at Sutton Valence Prep School. She was accompanist with the Kent County Choirs and believes in the promotion of excellence in music education, alongside making it accessible for all. She played viola in the Kent County Youth Orchestra.

Sarah enjoys choral conducting and set up a ladies' community choir, 'Mumma Mia', and continues to run choral workshops.

2020 saw Sarah return to a life in the law. She specialises in wills and probate work. She is delighted to be able to continue working as a musician alongside her legal work and thoroughly enjoys accompanying Boughton Monchelsea Community Choir.
